Our Commitment: Accessibility for All
We are committed to ensuring that everyone – regardless of physical or other impairments – can access and use our information, services, and offerings without limitations. Accessibility is an important part of our customer orientation, participation, and social responsibility. The requirements for accessibility are derived from the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG).
Digital Accessibility
We strive to make our digital services as accessible as possible – so that everyone can use our website and online forms. In doing so, we follow the standards set out in BITV 2.0 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
We understand that accessibility is an ongoing process. That’s why we regularly assess where we can improve – and implement improvements step by step.
Current Level of Compliance with Accessibility Requirements
Despite our efforts, not all content on our website is currently fully accessible. This includes:
- Color contrast is not sufficient in some areas.
- Syntax includes some formal errors, though these should not significantly affect accessibility.
- Images without alternative text: Some pages still lack descriptive alternative texts for images. These are being added during our regular content updates.
We are working diligently to ensure the accessibility of our website.
